Challenge

Birth & Baby Needs is an established prenatal and lactation consultant business located in Burlington, ON. Birth & Baby Needs wanted a modern website that also integrated an online scheduling platform (Jane App) to streamline admin tasks and make booking easier for clients. Birth & Baby Needs wanted their website to have a better user experience. Additionally, they wanted more awereness of the variety of services that they offered to new mothers and babies.

Solution

A new website that focuses on Birth & Baby Needs’ two highest priorities – making client booking easy and highlighting their services. We highlighted lactation support because it is their main offering and we added new navigation to be able to find information highlighting their other services.  With a better user experience (UX), clients are now finding Birth & Baby Needs online and booking through the website.

The Design

Due to the key demographic of services for new parents and babies, we started with a soft brand palette and simple layouts. The emphasis was ease of use to find the services available and book. We added multiple Call-to-Actions to “book appointment” to direct a user to our desired outcome. As well as created clearly defined service categories so a potential client can easily assess if this is the right solution for them.
